DVD drive is very faster than CD, you can also burn your cds with 52X speed, it will take 12 to 16 min. to burn the CD with quantity.

there is some devices called CD/DVD duplicator, this device usually have 5 - 7 (or more) CD/DVD burner with high speed burning, but these devices are so expensive for personal use.

There are bulk Duplicators on the market which will allow you to make a bunch of copies simultaneously. There not cheap though.
