That would depend on your body shape. A straight leg, dark jean or pant would add lenghth. A jacket with a single button front that falls at about mid-hip will help elongate your torso. Also, for skirts try an A-line skirt that falls just below the knee with a good heel.

i'm petite too!! haha depends where you are going, and how you want to look, i find it sometimes when i dress in jeans and t-shirts i look like im 4 years younger, like a teenager. but being petite rocks, we look good in everything!
