I have asked this question twice now and have gotten bad responses, so please only answer if your know what your talking about. I have a motorola v3m cell phone and I know that with a cable and software I can use my cell phone to connect to the internet with my PC. But the software costs $25. I want to know if any one has used their phone to connect to the internet. Let me clarify, I’m not talking about bluetooth, I’m not talking about paying for dsl over your cell phone, I’m talking about dial up. Remember the good old days when every one had a 56 K modem, and you clicked dial and your computer started making funny noises? That’s what I’m talking about. You can dial the internet with your phone.
MY QUESTION IS: has any ever done this, what is the speed like and does it vary with signal strength.
One of my previous answers was “its 100 MB cause that’s what my dsl is.”
O please no one has 100 MB internet connection let alone on a cell phone. Please give an intelligent answer.

Although I have never done it myself, I know it can be done. Just make sure to watch your minutes (unless you have unlimited). When you plug in the phone, it installs as a modem...just use that modem to dial and away you go.

first u favor to turn on ur gprs on ur telephone,once u turn on ur gprs u wil get carry of a sms,in d sms there wil b some wap adderess ave it as ur defaul placing...once u reserve it as ur defaul placing,u can flow to ur service in ur telephone and surf internet...
