Not even slightly. This bloke is probably just a punter with a blood fetish.

They call him the Ipswich killer.
TRIMLEY (AFP) - Police have arrested a 37-year-old man suspected of murdering five prostitutes in a high-profile serial-killer case that has gripped the nation for weeks.
The suspect, identified by media reports Monday as local supermarket worker Tom Stephens, was arrested at his home in Trimley, a few miles outside Ipswich, said Detective Chief Superintendent Stewart Gull.
The case has triggered comparisons with the "Yorkshire Ripper" Peter Sutcliffe, convicted of the murders of 13 women between 1975 and 1980, and Jack the Ripper, who killed five east London prostitutes in 1888.
All the Ipswich bodies were found naked in countryside on the outskirts of the town, within 10 days, sparking fears of a serial killer on the loose.
None showed signs of having been subjected to significant trauma or serious sexual assault before dying, fueling speculation that the killer might have been a drug dealer who doped.
There are some differences, but one thing in common with the Yorkshire Ripper and Jack the Ripper is the killing of prostitutes.

A serial killer, yes. A ripper, no. Prostitutes are easy prey for serial killers, because they make a living going off with men they don't know, but this guy isn't disemboweling them, from what I've read.
And you know, I won't deny Jack's place in the history of serial killers, but by today's standards, his body count was not impressive at all. Jeffrey Dahmer was convicted of 17 murders. John Wayne Gacy was convicted of 33. Ted Bundy confessed to 30 but may have committed as many as 100.

it quite is amazingly obtrusive who Jack the Ripper replaced into, yet first i ought to initiate on the initiating. Prince Albert of Wales, knows as Eddie, grandson of Queen Victoria fell in love with and married prostitute, a catholic prostitute and the two had a daughter at the same time. This woman instructed 5 different prostitutes of her being pregnant. Eddie replaced into third in line fro the throne, and Queen Victoria fearing that a catholic might come to potential to rule pronounced something be performed of the 5 prostitutes who knew of the marriage/being pregnant. for my area, and via no potential has this ever been shown, yet is the main possibly concept between historians. She employed her gynecologist, William Gull to do something of the undertaking. William Gull replaced into the top of a huge medical institution that knowledgeable medical doctors to paintings on the ill, and as physique areas have been hard to come again via then, she maximum possibly instructed him he ought to realize the organs of the bodies. have not you spotted all the sufferers had something taken faraway from their corpses? nicely it quite is my opinion, and fairly some historians' comments.

no chance.Jack the ripper performed surgery on his victims to remove the reproductive organs.still unknown why but some investigates today believe his wife couldn't conceive and that he was desperate to discover why, which led to his killing of prostitutes.the Ipswich killer is just killing them and dumping them by the road, completely different to jack the ripper.

well one of the guys the police have arrested was arrested on suspicion of murdering a prostitute 14 years ago, but they didn't have enough evidence to charge him.
Science has proved that some people have a mental problem that make them have killing fixations. Maybe this guy enjoyed killing the first women, so went off to find some more 14 years later. Possible???

Negative. Consider the current complexities of life. Men may just be getting rid of their spouses for various reasons in a manner the first murder was executed to confuse the law and keep the same off their track.

by definition the person who is responsible cannot be called a ripper as he is not ripping up the bodies. neither does he appear to be collecting body organs. he is just another psycho who needs to be caught as soon as possible

The question should really be - Why does the press continually refer to 5 human beings as 'prostitutes' like their sub human?
Think of their families. It makes me sick.
