A pediatrician would be a better source, but my baby at that age drank about 4 ounces of formula and water (mixed according to the formula cank) every three to four hours.

That depends on the child sometimes babies have a bigger appitie than we give them credit for and need more than others. I had a foster child who started eating baby food at 2 months old because he was drinking 8 ounces of formula every 2 hours. The doctor said he needed food.

As much as it demands. Generally 3-6 oz's every few hours. Some times more, some times less.

He'll let you know when he's hungry, and he'll eat until he's full. Sometimes babies will comort themselves with the bottle, you'll know this is happening because he cries more often, and when given the bottle he doesnt even finish an ounce. As he grows he'll demand more food, and eventually one bottle at a feeding wont be enough because he will demand more once its gone.

He wont starve himself.

As much as he wants. As many guidelines and booklets people write on babie's, they are still gonna dance to their own drum. So just let the precious bundle of joy slurp up all the milk he/she wants!

Preemie or full term? No specific amount...look for plenty of wet and poopy diapers to ensure their are no signs and symptoms of dehydration. About 5oz when the baby seems hungry. about...every 4 hours. mommy of 4 and full time nurse :)
