The two used together are an excellent form of birth control. I could never use the film though, as I was irritated by it. If you use it and find the same, discontinue using it and talk to your doctor about another spermicidal method.

permit's basically verify the container on that vaginal contraceptive action picture, we ought to? You do this at the same time as I google around, seem at websites like WebMD and planned Parenthood. Hmmm, so i'm getting solutions like 70%-88% effectual, seventy 4%-ninety seven% effectual, and seventy 5%-88% effectual. Does your product say something like that? through fact it quite is how effectual VCF and pulling out at the same time are, because pulling out provides actually no added risk-free practices. So it is going to fail you someplace between 3% and 30% of the time. there is too huge a sort for my convenience.

I always go with the combo method. Using two methods of birth control is always better than one.

They're not 100% (just like most birth control), but they're better than nothing!
Personally I found it tough to insert the film, so I used the little spermicide suppositories that you insert like a tampon.
