When Taurus and Leo come together, they often become a sort of mutual admiration society. They understand each other's needs well. Taurus needs affection, to be loved and cherished, while Leo likes compliments and wants to be adored and admired. They are both strongly loyal and are often possessive of each other. I think that if the Leo were the female, then it wouldn't work (unless were talking lesbians?)
A female Leo is very self centered, very showey and self indulgent with her looks and clothing and bling (for lack of a better word?) and a Male Taurus is your classic no holds barred bull in a china shop. A male Taurus is way too direct for the ego of a lioness.
If it were the other way around and the female was the bull... It might work better? But this is probably not the best match either way because Male Leo's are famous for being overtly sensitive about honesty. Taurus is your classic trip over the tongue blunt and in your face honest.
A Leo needs a supportive personality and a Taurus needs someone who can take a blow or two without finding or taking too much offense.

I am a Taurus and get along well with Leos. Leos can be vain and Tauruseds can be stubborn. If we acknowledge each others differences, we get along well. 3 of my best friends in the world are Leos. I would never reccomend a Taurus dating a Leo, however.

fantastic i,m Taurus my fiance Leo I just can,t argue with him& when we do we always make up quickly he says the same .
both of us are stubborn & opionionated we don,t hide anything from each other maybe thats why we suit each other

I think it really depends on the individuals. I'm a fairly typical taurean and dont really get on with leos though

Fantastically as friends - as they are so different, one learns from the other. However, in a relationship, it can be quite stormy as the differences can rub each other the wrong way.
