well maybe u are helping others but did u tried to help yourself? maybe u started to deny the problems from your life and start focus on others smtimes this help us not to focus on our personal chaos. So my advice to u is to take a short or long break(i think in this moment no one is more important then yourself, this is not cruel thinking) at first for sure u;ll say i can;t take a break now i have this and that and the other to do but if u don;t start now u;ll never start. so do it as soon as u can (maybe u'll say after christmas or new years eve but no matter what JUST DO IT) After u took this decision, make a list of things that happen in your life focus on the most important ones, start writting. Start enjoy all the things that u could have take it for granted. Try to remind yourself why are u special, what achivments do u have small or big it doesn't matter (for example for me is an achivment just to get up in the morning and go to work and i;m not jokeing) good moments, sad moments. make a list of new project or gols and start working on them. In general start doing small things and understand what in your life put u in such a situation.......And being a good person means to be a good person towards yourself also if u are just a little selfish u wont go to hell :) And a good guy/gal knows that they can't never lose because at the end of the day one way or another they are the hero even if no one says so. And you should define better what a good person is to u, for example for me a good person is the one who let me bump my head over and over till the moment i;m down and then drags me back to understand what did i do wrong. No matter what don't forget that for u that the most important person in this world is U.

Whatever obstacles that come in your life is not dictated on how "good" you must be, in order to either gain more privileges or less obstacles. That misconception has been advertised and spewed out by religious organization for generations. Same goes for Hollywood movies ("The good hero/heroine always wins over evil, and gets the girl/guy in the end" hogwash). Whatever gains or hardships that comes into our lives, whether we have more or less of either, no matter if we have positive or negative personalities, is mostly decided by fate, blind luck, and coincidence.

Swim in calmer waters. Relax, accept you are basically a good person and the current will flow you past some suprisingly tricky places. Don't fight who you are, and you might find out your struggles were slowing you down and creating more problems than were needed. It is easy to say and easy to do. The trick is to understand that when life tosses you an anchor, you don't have to catch it.

Change your focus. Recognize that Murphy's Law is real and must be taken into account, but also look at your life. Are you leaving yourself open to random attacks? Have you made enemies that are causing your troubles? Try to increase your vigalence. Whatever is going on can be controlled if you are ready for it. Good luck.

"To the aggressor go the spoils", works in Texas holdem and probably describes life in general.... You can blame our alpha male ancestors strolling the savannahs of N. Africa eons ago for why this occurs.

Objective reality says life is equally fair and unfair to good and bad people. To think otherwise is not rational or logical. I've seen that positive and confident people usually make their own luck, so to speak....so my advice is that a change of attitude is in order, all losses need to be seen as opportunities for change or improvement, the eye on your goal(s) must not falter.

The good person doesn't always lose, though it may seem so.
Just keep the good works and keep on faith.
From myself I have learned that the more I focus on my bad luck, the more unlucky I get. So deep down it has everything to do with how you look at yourself
