Strange thing is that I was going to mention the town I grew up in in CT and then I saw it was on this list already. It was basically all white and black people especially were not really viewed well. Everyone always stared at them if they drove by and most people I knew were quietly racist. There seemed to be some sort of understanding that black people did not have any business in our town, especially at night. It was strange, but I never really thought about it until I was much older.
