Do people who say these kinds of things annoy you?

Question

You say, "My nose is running today"
They say, "Well, trip it and it will stop"

You say, "I'm going to run to the store"
They say, "Why don't you take the car instead?"

You say, "This hamburger tastes like crap!"
They say, "How would you know? Have you ever eaten crap before?"

And then they laugh like it's the cleverest, funniest thing anybody ever said.

Can't say that I have I had that happen to me. Some time I say stupid come back lines that are corny and very dumb. We all say really dumb things like I am going to run to the store, rather that saying I am going to go to the store.
The hamburge that taste like crap can be said like this , Man this hamburger is really nasty.
Don't leave the door open for really dumb coments because there is sure someone that will always walk through it.

my wife does sometimes.. usually I just comeback with an equally stupid response.. like I'd say "how would you go about tripping your nose?" or "running is better exercise" or "oh yeah, I eat crap a lot! but only right before we make out" ;)

Yes. one friend in particular did that to me
I punched him, and pushed him off the deck, he fell down a flight of stairs
now that was funny....
he doesnt do it anymore

No because I can't resist saying those things myself.
It used to drive my son crazy when he would say I'm hungry mom, I would say Nice to meet ya hungry.
I know it is kind of dumb.

Oh yes. I've said "Hey booger!" before and gotten the reply, "How would I look coming out of your nose?" So annoying. :)

You're hammering a nail in a piece of wood and get "Whatcha doing?" "I say, no, I'm having a poop."
Or you're wataching TV and are asked, "Whatcha watching?" I say, "A TV, what's it look like?"
Or you answer the phone and get, "Oh, you're home!" and I say, "No, this is my answering machine."
Or you're on Yahoo Answers and you get, "You surfing the net?" and I say, "No, I'm flying my rocket ship to the moon."

Yes, it does sometimes, it really depends on my mood. But that should make oyu want to be clever then them and you should be quick with your response to what they said and make them look stupid or even just annoy them.
