detergents are all inherently very similar. the cheaper ones have more water added and produce less suds. by this logic, usually the most expensive brand,Tide will be the most concentrated. by my logic, however, if I bought tide i would use less of it per load, because I know that arm n hammer does just as well for less money.

I read in a consumer magazine that Tide with Bleach Alternative was the best in tests it conducted. I bought some and liked it and have been using it now for over 15 years.

I use Tide liquid for my boys' very grungy wash and it works great, even for very dirty clothes after a camping trip. Gets the dirt and smell out really well, even stains most of the time. If your wash is not too dirty, a good cheap detergent is Purex liquid.

Well Tide is the best on the market but not every on can use it because some people are alergic to it. Gain is a good product All is also very good Surf those are the best in my opinion but that is just me.

I think purex works great as well as downy simple pleasures fabric softner in the blue bottle. It has a really fresh scent that makes your whole house smell great.
