A toothache is caused by an infection in the tooth called an abscess. Left untreated it can cause swelling and the bone around the tooth to be eaten away, causing the tooth to also become mobile. I have seen swelling cause an eye to close due to the puffiness in the face and the sinuses could be affected as well, but have never heard of or seen some one complain of blurred vision. Yes, you could also acquire an ear ache because of an infected tooth. Get that tooth extracted or root canaled it will not get better on it's own and you could end up with more problems than just that tooth.

hahaha One thing a whole lot worse than a toothache would be having one about five hundred years ago, without all the incredible tools of dental technology that we have in our present time. Even that old joke about Root Canal doesn't apply any more. The one I had done last year was a breeze So bless your lucky stars you live in the 21st century, go see your dentist today, and give him a big thankyou when you leave .
Have you hugged YOUR dentist lately? LOL.

I asked a question about a toothache no too long ago, and someone wrote back about labor pains. Well, my tooth ached for 2 weeks. I had no dental insurance (I'm self-employed). And no - there's nothing worse as far as I'm concerned. I mean, c'mon, pain in your face.....eeeewwwww....I definitely feel your pain. If its a cavity, buy some Temparin and fill it up. The shi* works great. I hope it goes away quickly for you. That really s u c k s!!!!!!
