I have gottten my girlfriend her gifts already, but i want to know what really makes a woman happy for christmas. does it even matter if she gets a gift or not?

I'd love to say its the thought that counts, but that isn't the case for many females. My suggestion is that you purchase the accompanying products for her favourite perfume. Women will buy perfume for themselves, but they rarely splurge on the body lotion or bath soap or powder. Always an appreciated gift! But for sentimentality, think of a conversation you had, or a special place you went together....and give her something small that will tell her that you remember!

Yes, women are all very different. That said, my husband and I haven't exchanged gifts for the past two Christmases. Our family think we're weird. We do give to each other, but it's by spending time with each other. Some special things we enjoy at this time of year: driving around at night to enjoy the holiday lights, visiting a local national park, going out to dinner, or getting away for a night at a hotel. To me physical gifts may not be remembered five years from now, but the time we spent together is precious. Someday we'll look back on our memories, not a pile of stuff at a garage sale. : )

Its really hard to say what every woman wants. We're all different and at the same time are looking for different things. I think what we all are looking for during this time of year is happiness. Whether its the happiness that comes from being in love and knowing that love is reciprocated, to the welfare of those they love. Gifts are always nice because they show you care enough about that person to go out of your way, but they're not everything.

Depends on the woman. I don't really care much about what I get. I like to be surprised by something cute or a nice gesture or maybe a nice dinner that he makes for me. Other women really like jewelry and lavish things. We're all different, honey. Good luck!
(and P.S. Sometimes jewelry does fail. I really have no interest in it myself. If your girl is into jewelry, you will know it.)

Jewelry will always work. Or something you made yourself is even better. Anything that shows you put thought and effort into the gift will always work.

Yes it matters - you must give them gifts. And while jewelry will Always make her smile (make sure to note whether she wears gold or silver), she will be just as happy to get a gift that she can tell you thought about. You stopped whatever you were doing, you thought about her and you thought about the things that she would like.
Again, jewelry doesn't hurt though. ;)

every woman is different, some love chocolates other flowers, you should know what youre girl likes and try to think if she mentioned anything that she wanted to get for herself or that she liked when the two of you went out 4 shopping.

Jewelry never fails. If you really listen to her throughout the year you will know what she wants. Women are always dropping hints about what would make them happy or what they like. I hope she likes your gifts.

depends on the women.
not all women expect a gift.
sometimes the kids or other family members get the money that you would have spent on each other instead.
how about a evening with candles and music or movie and cuddling along with those store bought gifts?
