We are ALREADY in WW3, with a extreme sect of Wahiddi Muslims who stand for everything the West is not, and find us somewhere on the far side of literally Godless heretics, worthy only of only forced conversion to Islam, or death.......
Imagine 25,000 Jehovah's Witnesses or those lunies in Guyana 20 years ago with heavy weapons and a death wish....
and if you don't believe we, the West, are at war, remember there used to be Two Towers in NYC.......
as far as N. Korea goes, mysterywoman is spot on........those people are not only dangerous but crazy....they are the only hereditary Communist state that has promoted their leader as a God..........and the small power elite in NK will, like every dictator's circle. do almost anything to hold onto power.
Mix in nuclear weapons and a delivery system that can hit Seoul and Tokyo today and Seattle and LA tomorrow........
In the mid 80's, Israel launched an air strike on Saddam's nuclear development program.as a result, he didn't have nukes to throw at the Iranians in the 8 year war they had, nor nukes to threaten the Allies when he invaded Kuwait-------(anyone remember this recent history?)-------
so there is something to be said for sending the B-2's to North Korea, or maybe some ICBMs with kinetic energy weapons instead of nukes......
in the meanwhile, it would be nice for a bi-partisan announcement reaffirming a basic tenet of American policy......whether you have a Carter-Kennedy-Clinton or a Bush Regan-Nixon in the White House, America's policy since 1947 is this;
Any attack upon America, her allies or her interests with WMD will be responded to in kind.
Have Bush re-announce this. Have Pelosi and Clinton and MaCain and Kennedy and Julianni stand behind him and nod gravely as he does.
After that, anyone who misreads America and does something stupid.....well, think of it as evolution in action.

I believe that a third WW is inevitable but I really don't think it will happend for some time. Kim Jung ILL is just mad cause he is getting enough attention. Yes, He has fired long rang missile but with no real success. Most of the missiles he fired didn't even leave the ground, or leave his country. I think it was only 8 that landed in the sea near japan. Could he have hit Japan, I believe so, but what you have to think about is the countries location. Iran and N Korea. The are not close enough to each other to make a united front in a War. You can't compare Germany and Japan to N Korea and Iran, different times different weapons. N Korea is surrounded By S korea, china and the Seas. US has forces in S Korea ready willing and able to plow into N Korea. And yes China was a Allie to N Korea during the Korean War but as of late the China government has shown that they do not support Kim jung ILL. I really think Kim Jung Ill is a smart man and realizes his chances of wining much less surviving a War when he doesn't have China to Back him. Iran I don't know to much about, but I do know that if we invade Iran like we did Iraq we will lose many more troops then we have in Iraq. Iran has watched our troops and our way of operation and they know what works and what doesn't. The Iraqi's are smart and fast learners, but worst of all they have no fear of Dying. It is hard to fight a man when he has no fear of dying. I feel that is How Iran army is as well. So are we on the brink of WWIII, No I really don't think so, I don't think we will so another WW for a really long time. There will have to be a bigger Country that will oppose the US and all of our Allies. North Korea and Iran aren't big enough to take on German, France, Italy, and The US. Just those forces alone could wipe out the two countries in a short time. Ok Now I feel like I'm rambling. But I don't think anyone should worry about a WW until you see a stronger force take a more of a Dominant stance against the US.

If, by WW3 you mean the whole world against N Korea, then yes.
If you mean several countries together bent on conquering the whole world then no. Currently there is no formidable support for N Korea and they can't conquer the world alone. Maybe they can drop a nuke or two but if they do there won't be much left of them but a green molten parking lot.
Although N. Korea has proven itself to be crazy, at the end of the day they still understand that they don't have the nuclear arsonal to destroy the US, while the US has the nuclear arsonal to destroy N Korea 10 times over.
The threat with NK is they will sell the nukes to terrorists, not create WW3. I didn't say the threat was any less, but you asked if it would start WW3 and the answer is no.

Time to wake up and smell the sand! WW3 has already started! President Bush did not just invade Afghanistan and Iraq for hoots and giggles. There is a great big hole in New York City that says we can do whatever we want to to anybody who was involved with 9/11 in any way. That was our generation's Pearl Harbor, and WW3 is a new kind of war. It is easy to sit on our brain in an armchair and second guess the people who are protecting our posteriors, but that is not going to stop the hatemongers.
As for North Korea, their much vaunted bomb was a fizzle, and their missles are falling to pieces even as they leave the launch pad. They will probably be "The Mouse That Fell On Its Face". This is not to say they arent dangerous, but they are more of a murderous three stooges episode. Between their fire balloons which landed on themselves, their tunnels, their suicide squads which kill more north koreans than anybody else, they could be quite a comedy routine if it wasnt for all the dead bodies (mostly theirs). We are keeping an eye on them, but there are more immediate threats to deal with.

Well the way our politicians are running this country, I have a strong belief that it will eventually lead to a WW3. Bush is busy settling old scores at the loss of thousands of our troops. As far as N.Korea is a concern as well but then again we don't have a right to yield nuclear weapons as well.

Start watching countries that ban together with "peace treaties" or allie treaties. France and Austriallia just signed one, and France is testing nukes. It's not if, it's when.
All war is based on lies and corporations wanting a profit, so N. Korea is not the only PEOPLE brainwashed. Treat others as you wish to be treated. They are still our neighbor, just like everyone else is.
My advice, start stocking and growing your own food, rations suck.

Why would I worry about it, there is enough intelligence in the humans to understand what wars are. We should be able to negotiatie for peaceful solutions. There is Russia and China, to look at for example, let us not make a crisis out of ever issue, but look for peaceful solution and win win situations. Peace be with you .

Ok first off I am an athiest, I was a jew/christian so this is just a thought.
If you look at revalations and when you get to the part about the beast and the heads and all that bull, it sounds too much like the U.N. and if you use that thought you can see that we are in world war III. just a thought for those it still believe in fairy tales.
