When you are in a sad situation, and you know that in this situation people generally cry(like death), but, for some reason, you DON'T feel like crying. Maybe you are just numb or maybe you have your own reasons. But, you know that people will be expecting you to cry, if you don't cry people will judge you.
What do you do? Do you decide you don't care about the people and let them judge you? Or do you produce fake tears?

Some people judge others no matter what but I'm for real and don't believe in faking anything.

Sometimes you have to react according to the situation. Normally I wouldn’t give a flying “F” what people think. However, there are some situations where it would be a good idea to fake an emotion. My friend recently lost his mother-in-law; the blighter confessed to me that he was actually delighted yet at the funeral he was weeping like a baby. A few days later I asked him about it. This is what he had to say.

“Well the old bag may have gone, but I still have a long life to live with her daughter…so a few crocodile tears was the need of the hour. “

You can be deeply sad without crying, you can cry in your own time. I don't know how to produce fake tears, and people have no business judging you on how to deal with your own emotions, so, just look sad, and let them deal with it.

I think it's sometimes possible to be TOO sad to cry. I know last time I was at the hospital visiting my Mom, she was confused and didn't know who I was- she thought I was her sister, who's been dead since 1992.. and I was so upset that my entire brain just shut off. I couldn't cry- Wanted to- but couldn't. I don't think anyone judges you for not crying. People understand better than you think.

I let people judge me, because in a situation like that, I'm usually too numb to cry...for me it just means that my heart aches so badly that I literally cannot cry.

I pretend to cry and then lock myself in the toilet so I don't upset anyone... for SOME reason I always end up thinking stupid things in that situation and end up laughing! So my best thought is to get out of there as soon as I can so I don't upset anyone.

I'm not.. sick or evil I don't even know why it happens.

I never fake it. People should be busy with their own selves and not bothering to look around at what other people are doing, what's that say about them?

If I don't feel like crying, I don't cry. I don't normally cry at the time......but I will cry much later down the road, in my own good time........

I cry just enough to get people off my back, and then I seclude myself.
