Yes. I did. His name was Tony. He was an enigma at the tehno club I used to frequent. I broke off my engagement for him (and he was in jail) all because I sat across from him at a table in prison gripping his hand and looking into those hazel eyes. Heaven with an edge... that's what Tony looked like. A little bit dangerous. Maybe it was the scar over one eyebrow or the voice that sounded street-smart and wise beyond his years. I traded an entire future with a dependable, safe guy for an unsure one with Tony. In the end, Tony and I didn't work out. Yes, I melted when I looked into his eyes. The first time he kissed me, I felt the ground rock beneath my feet. I was never totally the same after loving Tony. Luckily though, my fiancee took me back, and we've been married for three years now. It's been years since I've seen Tony, and I never wonder "what if" anymore. I have already traveled that road, and I didn't like the answers I found.
