Yes of course i dated me best friend and we ended up married however if things dont go well you could lose your best friend

Yes of course if you both really like each other sometimes long friendships that turn into a relatioship are the best ones, im understanding that you may think about if it don't work out but take the chance otherwise you will never know and this way at least try it because you might regret it if you don't and later on in life you will always wonder. She could be yoursoul mate, it sounds like a great chance to take !!!!

It depends on the situation. Just because you were best friends for five years does not mean that you both should be together. That is just a bunch of bullsh*t. That would be like me saying because I was best friends with my girlfriend for 5 years then I should be with her. Like I said, it depends on the people who have that kind of friendship together. If they want to take it further to another level, then they are more than welcomed to. Also I do not think that it is wise for people to get together like that because what if you decided you didn't want to be with that person anymore? I think it would potentially damage the good friendship that you had with that person before the attraction really began. It would be really sad if the friendship just deteriorated becuase of another personal failed relationship.

Definatly! going out with best friends are the best relationships. You probably have a lot in common with her, so I would definatly try to go out with her. Remember though that you are best friends and I would not go to fast with her.

no because if you have been friends for that long then if you go togeaher then it might mess up your friend ship so just stay friend if you are really good ones
