Be wise enough to know what should be done and what not to be done, saying 'i love you' is not a simple task and if a guy can say that to you after just few months of online chatting, i think that could be a trap! be careful when you meet anyone on the net, not all are good people, some tend to thirst for lust, and this is how the world is!
please be aware of what you are doing so that it will not lead you to any guilt or despair...seek help from someone who is old enough to think maturely.
if a guy truly loves you, he will take things slowly cos he knows that its not right to rush for things...people are not always nice as what we thought of, so never to fall prey to such people..
if i were you i will just forget bout giving him my number and will just chat with him online to find out what kind of person he is, dont take his words for real, you must evaluate his attitude as well as personality, falling for his charms can be harmful!

6 weeks is too soon for someone to fall in love especially if he has never seen you let alone met you, he may be in love with the image he gets from you in here, but internet love can succeed and has. If you have a mobile then use that number rather than a landline where he may be able to trace your home address, and not wishing to preach but if you do meet up then meet in a public place and maybe with a friend too, if he really loves you he will accept these proposals. I hope everything works out ok for you

Don't trust anyone on the internet! Especially people who say they love you. Don't even trust this message board.
If you must meet him go to his home state, carry a couple friends, and have a quick exit strategy.
It's never happened to me personally, but a friend of mine has met quite a few Psychos in her online relationships, and they seem the most normal people online.
