I tend to cut the drama queens out of my life, or else just listen and nod and then move on.
i have encountered them and i try not to associate with them.
some create drama and drag you into it, but some just talk alot about stupid stuff. the talkers i can tolerate to an extent, but the ones that drag you into the drama....yeah, i cut them out.
take care.

The most drama filled mate I have is a lad we have been mates with for years. He is full of drama and is always getting arrested, getting in fights or there is some juicy story. I actually find it quite funny and never really take it seriously cause its always stupid stuff. Dont really have drama at work cause I work with my mates so we just go out for drinks after work and stuff or take my daughter round the shops. We dont argue cause we are used to being together.

I have a number of friends who I love dearly but are serious drama queens (one girl is moving to be with her boyfriend, even tho she's sleeping with the guy who "molested" her one night when they were at the bar drinking).
When she starts getting dramatic I just either nod my head and agree, or try to change the subject to something else and tell her to calm down.
Once you know they're just being dramatic - their stories are actually pretty funny.

just pretend to listen. slap a knowing grin on your face and nod occasionally and look interested, while in the mean time think of other things that are important to you, or things you need to get done or whatever. Im sure the person thats rambling on will never know the difference and since they are so self absorbed they will probably go on talking forever and not even notice

You can limit your contact with the DQ's, or when they try to pull you into their web of drama, you can say "oops, the doorbell's ringing, gotta go" or basically just tell them to step off and lose a friend.
I prefer to be aware of the signs of impending drama and keep myself "busy" and "we'll do lunch".

get away from them, stop dealing with them period, and if you must be around them, then limit the time YOU spend close to them! Drama sucks and so do the people that cause it!

I don't! And if I had to for some reason, I would confront them on the issues they are developing for themselves and let them know very clearly, I live within reality. Good luck and God bless****

Honey I have no idea!
Your best bet is to never play Therapist to them!!
Ignore them by rolling your eyes when they start! and hange the subject as much as you can
