Has it been done? What would you call the hybrid : allidile or crocogator?

There are 3 possibilities

Yes: The hybrid can reproduce
Yes: The hybrid can't reproduce (like the Mule, donkey and horse)
No: The two species are too different in thier DNA

It might as well be any one of these.

No, it can't be done. Cross-breeding can only be done betweens species. Alligators and crocodiles belong to different families. They cannot interbreed. They just happen to look very similar to us.

Oooo well a donkey and a horse give an asse
a lion and a tiger give a liger
so maybe a crocogator

Perhaps if the crocodile bought the aligator some flowers and then took them on a romantic meal !!!!!!

I would not go and interfere if I saw a croccodile giving it to an alligator or viceversa....!!!!!
