In southern California I think Philly's Best Authentic Cheese Steak & Hoagie Shop has the best cheese steak sandiwhces. There are about 20+ shops throughout the southern California region including Irvine. I love their cheese steak sandiwiches. Although they are a bit pricey.

Papa Guido's in Norristown, PA (it's outside of Philly) on Main St. I've tried every place, even the shops down in downtown Philly, and nothing compares.
Papa Guido's are cheap and AMAZING. They are about 1 1/2 feet long, come with the sauce and all.

well the philly steaks at genos and pat's in philly are great - but i live in brigantine (jersey shore)
the white house in atlantic city are the best!!
