Meanie.

I have a fat in-law who is starting a diet and exercise program in the new year. I am giving him a talking pedometer, just as a show of support.

Here's a link to one: http://www.talkingpresents.com/Talking_Pedometer_p/talking_pedometer.htm

I'm wishing him the best in his pursuit of good health.

I hope you were kidding about the toilet seat and McDonalds.

How about a t-shirt (or tarp) that says 'I Beat Anorexia!!!'??

Good ideas! They probably need a new toilet seat! i had a roommate in college who weighed over 400 lbs, and he was constantly breaking them!

The giftcard is a great idea too!

But most importantly, don't forget the cake!

Might I add, if this person is hopelessly, morbidly obese, you could get them a cheap 38 Revolver and a few bullets so they can go ahead and end their pathetic life and save us US taxpayers some money.

Maybe a birthday card with 3 strips of bacon glued to it. Or maybe a VIP card at Old Country Buffet.

Well you can't really get them a membership to a gym cause they will get offended. How about a gift certificate to a store at the Mall, that way they can get the size they really wear.
