What websites, magazines and seminars are best for CIO's to remain current on new technology solutions (e.g. RFID, Web Services, Wireless, etc.), specifically, what technology is on the horizon, how to implement the technology, what controls should be in place when implementing the technology and how this new technology should be properly secured?

If your are runnig a windows network then a subscription to MS tech net would be a good place. Also becoming a MS partner and getting test copies of all their software would keep you up to date and their latest software.
