In December 2004, Renault lent Top Gear the R24 that Fernando Alonso used in his last 3 races of the season in order to find out if it was able to lap the TG test track in less than a minute. Despite moist conditions and a greasy track, the lap took 59 seconds.

In early July 2006, at the ExCeL Exhibition center in London, Richard Hammond filmed a clip about attempting to create an "indoors" speed record. Toyota lent them a TF105 to attempt the record, peaking 81mph(130kph), just a bit faster than the 70mph(116kph) achieved in the Reasonably-Priced Car (Chevrolet Lacetti). The Stig's appearance was slightly altered, with a logo of oil company Aral on top of his helmet.

What is your opinion on the Stig's identity for those runs?

And before you write to say to me that Heikki Kovalainen drove the Renault, I have to remind you that the footage was shot around the time of the 2004 Race of Champions.

I knew about Perry McCarthy being the black Stig. But I also need some information about something on the indoor run in the Toyota TF105.

It is an interesting question, surrounded by mystery, and with no definitive answer. Upon some research, I found out that the the best answer was already given by "lushads" about eight month ago in a similar context. This is what he wrote:

Ex formula 1 driver Perry Mcarthy was the stig, but not anymore, he was "let go" quite a while ago. (Hence the changing from Black stig to White Stig). Interview with him here:

It is now widely thought that Ben Collins, an experienced single seater and sports car driver, is the new Stig. Look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ben_collins...

However On the 18 March 2006 the former Stig, Perry McCarthy, revealed that currently there is no one single test driver, but multiple test drivers who masquerade as the Stig.

It appears that some rarer, privately owned cars may be driven by their owners, masquerading as the Stig. This was the case for the Maserati MC12, privately owned by Frank Mountain, a successful property developer; the car was at the time the only one in the country. Heikki Kovalainen (the Renault F1 test driver) admitted to driving the Renault R24 F1 car around the track in the 2004 series, clothed as the Stig. In a Winter Olympic special episode of Top Gear, the Stig was also shown doing a ski jump using a ski mobile, suggesting that this may have been another person dressed as the Stig doing the extremely dangerous stunt. According to the Swedish tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet, the snow mobile driver performing the ski jump stunt was Dan Lang, a swedish snow mobile cross driver.
