if you've seen the movie Forrest Gump, you must know about Lieutenant Dan played by Gary Sinise.
does anyone know how they made Gary Sinise look disabled? in the movie, there are many places where he looks so convincing as a man without legs, that my mum and i actually started thinking he was legless.
can anyone explain what the people behind the movie Forrest Gump could have done to make Lt. Dan such a convincing disabled man? it doesnt really look like they could have used computers to do it because theres no falseness about the picture when Lt. Dan comes on the scene.

Green Screen technology.Used green leggings and the digitally removed the legs or blend the scenery to give the appereance.

I love Forrest Gump!!! If you have the DVD, just go watch the special features. They explain it all. They covered his legs up like everyone else said and took several different angels shots of the background then with him then super imposed them on to one another.

they just cover his legs with green material then cut it out on computer which is done a lot now such as Narnia for the legs of some actors that need to appear that they have horse legs (the fauns).

Hard to believe but it was the computers and the specialists behind them who made those scenes so "convincing". I was asking myself at the time I watched the movie about this fact but later on I saw how they made this using digital technology. On Discovery channel... not so sure.

They covered his legs, from the knees down, with green paint or something to make it green, and digitally edit his legs out. Just like a green screen.

he got shot and they amputated both his legs, their was no fancy camerawork ha ha,whoever gave me thumbs down is a c0ckhead and most probably a fukking ******* or lezo, leave me alone you freaks
