Cat Stevens embraced Islam in 1977 and adopted the name Yusuf Islam in 1979.
Credited as "Yusuf", Yusuf Islam released a new record album in November, 2006 entitled An Other Cup, his first pop album of new songs in 28 years. His 21 year old son, Muhammed Islam, who was responsible for his father's return to secular music, is also a musician and artist. His professional name is "Yoriyos" and his debut album is scheduled for release in February 2007

yes as we've just bought it for my mum in law as one of her xmas pressies! he calls himself YUSEF now and the album is called An Other Cup.

I don't know, but that is funny he has a new album...I remember in 1973,,,, there were rumors that he had died...Glad to hear he is still kicking!!!!!
