they just repeat what the "leaders" say. they are like the sheep in Orwell's Animal Farm. Repeat one phrase ad nauseum and then change the phrase and repeat the new one though it is contradictory.

Let's not minimize this situation. What it clearly shows is that no one has any idea what to do. Rumsfeld and Bush have been turning a deaf ear to the military's calls early in the war for more troops and now the military is questioning the need for more troops.

This whole war is an example of the old adage, "All good deeds get punished." While the liberation of the Iraqi people and the establishment of a democracy in Iraq is a wonderful concept, in reality, it just is not going to happen. Right now the future of Iraq is bleak. The American people don't have any confidence in the way Bush is running this war. And unfortunately, neither do many in the administration.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I get it. Just like when that famous genius from the Democratic Party, Lyndon Johnston, kept sending more and more troops to Viet nam (including your truely).

I think that President Bush was kind of forced ito this during this midterm election.

People who think "more troops" in Iraq are the answer are crazy. This is the next step in the Iraq Follies! People thought if we sent more and more troops to Vietnam we would teach those "damn commies" a lesson!
More troops are only going to incite greater resistance and more targets for the insugency,
But, hey, give it a try. Another hard lesson for the Am people!

Now, now, we need to be happy that they are finally facing reality, instead of chastising them for taking 3 years to get there.

You are just full of mindless hate today, aren't you? Why do you keep saying no Republican thinks for himself? If that's so, where do we get our ideas? President Bush? No, he's a parrot too...hmm. I think I just fell into a large hole in your logic.
