I guess it will sooner or later, or if it doesnt it will turn out to be a mini WWE show. I've always been a strict WWE fan, but even I know the speciality of ECW and the passion it had. WWE has softened it, made it typical, and literally destroyed the brand.

ECW is contracted with sci fi thru Dec 2007. Vince will keep it going because he's turned it into what he wants... another WWE brand. It's gonna turn into a developmental/ try out show... and if the wrestlers are good, then they will be moved to the other shows.
Unless the ratings tank and Sci Fi wants out, we are stuck with Vince's ECW for another year at least.

ECW - "E"nother "C"opy of the "W"WE.
Vince's fledgling Smackdown "brand" and the horribly fledgling ECW "brand" is just the same exact WWE. It holds NO extra value. Its an insult to the real fans. He split up the SAME GUYS and gave them all new NAME TAGS. RAW SMACKDOWN or ECW.
True value would have been to keep the WCW intact and the ECW intact and running with those two teams of guys. That would have been two TRUE ADDITIONS to the current roster of MUSICAL NAME TAGS.

test, rvd, sandman ... all great wrestlers but the new ecw is just plain **** an we can only hope that it shuts down and the roster is split between raw and smackdow.
