why do men never wash their hands??

Question

my husband will take out the trash and not wash his hands. he went and picked up the dog poop outside and came in and didn't wash his hands (apparently, he didn't touch anything but the plastic bag!). the guy i work with goes to the bathroom and then doesn't wash his hands.
i've seen lots of guys do this one!
what is up with that???
do you think we would be healthier if guys started washing their hands more??

p.s. i'm kind of messing around, but i'm kind of serious too.!

the guy at work...
his office is next to mine and so is the bathroom, so i know if he's in the bathroom and i never hear the sink turn on when he's done. it grosses all of us out at work, not just me.

i know lots of guys do wash their hands, but a lot don't and a lot of women don't....i said i was kind of messing around, but kind of serious, too!

68% of guys do not wash their hands after using the toilet. That's why I always use a tissue or paper towel to open any toilet doors and never, never eat any peanuts or cheese or other food left on a bar.

For maximum impact mention this fact to a friend just AFTER they have eaten those peanuts etc. The look on their face is incredible.

I would say that this applies equally to women. I'm a guy and wash my hands all the time. I also use a sanitizer so I don't pick up others illnesses. Additionally, I use a paper towel to open bath room doors and I see a lot of guys doing the same thing. I'm not a fanatic about it, but try to use common sense and I see other guys doing the same. I have heard horror stories about women who do not wash there hands, but only have heard this third hand.

Men just have a habit of doing what they want. They do know that it is not hygenic not to wash their hands but they are lazy and don't carish. They think that if they just rub their hands on their pants that they are ok. I never stop telling my husband and son to wash their hands. I never have to tell my daughter. Howere, in the las few years, I have seen an improvement in that habit, not only with the male in my family but with many other guys.. observing from family gatherings and public places at which we stop to snack when travelling.

My husband is a HAND WASHING FREAK!! He is constantly washing his hands...and making our sons wash their hands EVERY time they touch something..toilet, sink in bathroom..anywhere..IF they have a little food or dirt on their face...I have to remind them that they are little boys..and they will get dirty...I don't think it's just men who don't wash their hands..I've seen old ladies SNEEZE in their hands at the grocery store and then handle produce.. SO..it's just as bad!

we men wash our hands, but not often because we usually don't see a reason to. However... how do you know the guys @ work don't wash their hands?

Well as for me I do maybe it's the way you where raised, I was all was taught before you sit at my table you better go wash your hands. use rest room wash hands ,blow nose wash hands etc.

I wash my hands six or seven times a day! I know what you mean, but not all of us enjoy catching colds, spreading germs, etc.
