I had a neighbor tell me this..just wondering ya'lls thoughts....

She had a baby and 5 weeks later her and her mate had intercourse... She states that because it had been a few weeks the condom "over flowed" and now she is pregnant again...

I know condom is not 100% but this just seems a little far fetched..
What do you think?

Condoms do break from time to time -- but I had quite a laugh at the "overflowing" part.

(Does your neighbour's husband have both hands in casts...?)

I can tell you from experience that something doesn't sound right here. Somebody sounds like they want another baby here. First off, the chances the condom fails are slim at best. Also, the guys load, though may be bigger, wouldn't over flow unless the condom was put on wrong.

I think you answered your question... birth control is not 100% effective. It happens. They will definitely have their hands full! I was on birth control (had been on it 5 yrs), when I became pregnant. Now you'd prob assume I didn't take pills, but I took them always regularly. I think it was another medication that interferred at the time. Anyways, I am now paranoid a lot... and have taken several tests over the last 14 months of my son's life lol. It happens. My son was a blessing to me and my husband :) So even though he was an ooops, he was welcomed :)

I don't think overflowed is a possibility. Maybe she just wants another and doesn't want anybody to know she is trying for another?
