It's not a fantasy, it's a strategy. Fox 'News' relies on fear to keep it's viewers; fear of terrorists from abroad and evil liberals at home. Cultures grow and evolve over time; that's inevitable. It's the idea of a committed cabal of conspiring commies (libs) out to destroy America and all that is good -that's the stupid lie. There's a reason why Fox viewers consistently poll as the least informed of news watchers, Fox has no interest in actually informing and educating people, they want ideological troops that can be commanded and manipulated. The notion that they are 'under seige' by evil secular progressive forces helps keep them in line.

Well if you feel that way you are more than likely part of that culture. They aren't breeding hate, they (O'reilly) is fostering a view point that you may not agree with. If you think what he is saying is hateful, perhaps you had better re-examine your views and see if maybe you are the one fostering the hate. There are two sides to every issue. If you cannot be open to listen and evaluate it logically without getting mad or calling names, you are the one fostering the hate. The Culture War is not a fantasy...it is happening. Stop and look around you.

Again, it is time to wake up. People defending themselves like conservatives have to are not "breeding hate". It is all those weirdos on the left comparing anybody they dont agree with to Hitler who are really breeding hate!
I dont know if you are one of the two or three regular listeners that "Air America" has, but "Air America" programming consists pretty much of the "Bush Bashing" hour, following by the "We Hate Bush" hour, with the "Bush is Evil Incarnate" hour thrown in for variety.
Then they go to all the news their drug-crazed reporters have hallucinated for us. Talk about hate! These guys make Al Jazeera look like a sunday school compared to them.
(Actually, I have realized that "Air America" is short for " Airheads Who Hate America")
The thing that makes Fox stand out compared to the usual propagandist media is that they are not locked into a leftist agenda. If telling the truth is "Hate" to you, I pity those who have to put up with you.
As far a Bill OReilly, he is simply reporting fact as it is.
