I am kind of goth, kind of punk, kind of nerdy. I need simple ideas to make this come through my apparell and hair (My hair is currently dark brown and shoulder length). Any ideas would help. Thanks!

You know what? The simplest way to approach the blending of three different genres is accessories. Think: jewelry, belts, shoes, makeup, glasses/sunglasses and hair accessories. Colors to always keep in mind: red, black/white, and a shock color, like hot pink. You can have a lot of fun with this. Oh... converse sneakers--covers goth, punk and nerdy alike. Have fun!

You can try changing your style slowly. No need to rush. Aeropostale shirts are way cute, so are American Eagle screen and logo tee's, and can change the way a person looks at you(from goth I mean)...don't stick with too much black! Go to purples and other darker colors if you want to have some goth. Long skirts, dark pants,(bootcut of course!) are great, so are skirts with leggings. Braided hair'll keep you going...go light on make-up. For the hair factor, If your hair isn't already curly, I suggest low-lighting it and curling a little. Their your sheek new look! Forever 21 has GREAT clothes for your style!

Put some black lowlights in your hair (big fat chuncks) especially on the underneath, but some on top as well.... clothes wise I'd go with something like a printed tee that shows something you think is cool paired with patterned leggings and a cute "school girl" type skirt.. Add a studded belt or long jacket and your a carbon copy goth/punk/nerd
If you wanna lean more punk I'd put a few colored streaks in your hair also... whatever color you like but not green with brown hair.

Maybe you should start off with something small. Maybe try a few highlights and start a different hair-style. Hair is always a big thing to some people. If your not comfortable with that, simply try changing your outfits. Just go with a different style. But try to move slowly but gradually. That way in case you dont like the way you look, you can always change it again!
