Hold the odometer button down before you turn the key on.
When you turn the key on you do not start car but wait until the light goes out. Then you can let up on the odometer button and start the car.
Now the light should stay out. This is to tell you to change your oil and may need to be done every so often.

disconnect the efi 15 amp fuse for 15 seconds

find the efi fuse, in fuses under center dash panel. remove it for a minute and reinstall it. the light should be off after starting

disconnect the car battery, just the positive (+) cable, then reconnect it after a minute. that should reset the diagnostic memory.
