What are the doubtless signs?Today, in my hubby's workshop I have found a can of cannabis tea that is legally distributed as an energizer. He is working under the huge pressure, sometimes until late and is under the permanent stress. I guess he needs some stimulants sometimes, but I am really afraid if he might taken some harder things. He also smokes too much. Yesterday, after the night and day spent in work, he had red running eyes. I do worry about him, and I am so afraid if there is something I don't know yet. How to found it out and help him? Or, am I panicking too much?
Also, it makes me feel like a fool if I don't know what is happening behind my back.

Well there are some teas that will help keep you awake, like there are natuarl roots that do the same thing. It sounds like that is what he is using . It is not a drug, it is actually health, they use that tea, and root in different countries to stay healthy. For his red eyes, well when you are up and working all of the time and not getting any sleep, you are going to get the red in your eyes from the lack of sleep. You need to get him to try to slow down, so he could sleep, cause it sounds like it is taking a tow on him.

If you think he is using ilegall drugs, just come out and ask him, i am sure he will tell you .

Some signs of light drug use might be glassy eyes, hunger, mood changes that maybe weren't there before. It can be very difficult to tell if someone has been taking things like hash, or marijuana. The best thing you can do is just sit him down and talk to him about your worries. Marriages need to have open communication, without that, then you may be in for a difficult marriage. Doing a drug test behind his back, is decieving and probably only going to make things worse for the both of you.

I would be straight forward...I would let him know that the work he is doing is going to be in vain if he gets a drug test and flunks it..tell him you want to know if he is and if it is because of the work load...and then tell him you are not judging him, but worried about him and ask what you can do to help even going to a doctor with him..to get something to give him energy...insist that he takes some time off, but dont beat around the bush, and make sure that you let him know you're not judging, but worried out of love good luck and God Bless

I have to say I am concerned by the response I have just read. This isn't one of your kids this is your husband. Your hubby appears, from your question to be a hard worker, it's quite possible the red runny eyes are from lack of sleep or allergy/hay fever or a combination of both. It doesn't sound like you have either very good communication with him or faith....by this I mean if you have a concern just be upfront and ask, let him know you are concerned as him what you can do to assist....a relationship without trust isn't worth much.

As you're in doubt just confront him about it, giving him "The Look" (you ever see that episode of HOME IMPROVEMENT?)......... seemed to work with my long distance g/f this weekend when I spotted pictures of her on her Photobucket album with her friends messing about with a white powder (which turned out to be chalk for putting on the end of pool cues), looking like they were snorting cocaine or something,

If you are really worried about him,the best way is to ask him. Don't be judgemental of him though, be supportive, everyone slips up now and again.
