Try waiting 3-5 days to make sure that the hole has clotted well, they want you to wait to drink hot liquids because it can cause it to not clott thus giving you a very painfull dry socket.

The heat will promote bleeding and you want that to stop so atleast 2 days.

as soon as the bleeding has stopped completely, usually 24 hrs. and combine it with cold foods like ice cream

im gettin one done soon...realli scared...hope it won't hurt too much...but i think u can drink hot stuff after few dayz..thats wat my friends said
