I usually bake at 125 degrees for 5 hours. What do you do?

I usually cook a boneless pork loin, as they are very lean.

I brush it with Kitchen Bouquet, then brown it in a frying pan with some onion (about 1/2 cup). I do this part because if I want to make gravy, it turns out wonderful-- dark, rich, and full of flavor.

I then throw it in my slow cooker (crock pot) for about 5 hours. I recommend the crock pot as the roast turns out much juicier. Add about 1/2 cup of water with it. For the first 2 hours, I cook it on high, then reduced the heat to low for the duration.

About 1/2 an hour before its done, I take out all but 1/8" of the juices and make a pan gravy with it. Once the roast is finished, remove it carefully from the pan, and let it "rest" for about 5 minutes before you cut it. Be careful when you remove it, it is likely to fall apart because it is so tender!

This is a very easy way to have a wonderful pork roast, and believe me I failed enough on those in the beginning that once I found a way to really cook a juicy, tender delicious pork roast.

Good Luck!
