I do not know enough about ISLAM. But reading more books is not enough to know enough about ISLAM. You should live what you learn. And this way you will be a real muslim...

Islam is an interesting subject and since about a billion people follow it, it is an important world view
You really cannot accept Islam unless you reject the Bible as corrupt, something neither Jesus nor the apostles did "heaven and earth will pass away but My words will not pass away"
In contrast to the bible it rejects the death and resurection of Jesus and the adoption of the redeemed as God's children
In contrast to the Bible it does not put God as the highest treasure of heaven and in a real sense has a very man centered heaven, so I must reject it

Unfortunately Moderate Islam isnt making much of an effort to dispell the hate that is being pushed by the radical ones. It can be hard to distinguish between what is real and what isnt.

Islam, like Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism etc. believes in the existence of a fictional God for which there is no evidence.
This is all I need to know about Islam. It is enough for me to reject it.

I don't think anybody knows good enough about religions generally .
Unfortunately the questins being posted around just show that most of those who want to show they know it all are just ignorant ... I wish people educate theselves well before asking a question and also wish they ask to learn to to mock !!

in my opinion islam is the one to guide to people into peace.. as some people sad, islam doesnT encourage people to be terrorists. i accept there are such people but nobody supports them. and those people are in everywhere everytime just like hitler (catholic) and bush!! he is not a terrorist maybe but terrorsists donT kill around 600.000 people just like he did in ıraq

No one can really know about a religion that misleads the public with obscure translations and convenient quotations from the Quran about peace vs. jihad. Can we trust a religion that encourages people to put a bomb on their backpack and get on buses? No.
