The best answer will simply be that of the most intriguing answer to this question. I put "Agnosticism" because I don't want people with mainstream religious beliefs to reply. I only want people with abstract beliefs to come forward, like myself.
For example, my biggest belief is that of where the ancients obtained their intelligence. It may be far-fetched, but I believe that time is in a loop...humans will eventually evolve to travel to other planets. In millions of years time when a supernova occurs in your galaxy, I believe it will form a whole new galaxy. The human race that currently exists and is in other galaxies will be fascinated by this occurance and will want to investigate at some point. They come back and observe the new earth with the 'new ancients' and accidently interfere, providing them with knowledge. This keeps happening in a loop. In the same sense, aliens & UFO's are, in my opinion, futuristic humans who've come back to observe us. The 'big bang' was a supernova.

OK..I will say this..I have seen crafts all of my life..more now than ever before..not lights in the sky..but..objects..that have instant unbelievable speed.. a speed that nothing man made, could touch...I have had many close encounters with these crafts..that is as far as I will go with that..I have a few sightings on my 360 blog...
The way I understand it..they have been here for the entire existence of mankind. There is certainly enough proof..I guess its the illiterates that can't figure out the truth on their own and have to be told what to believe as real..and how to think and function in society..These people will have their worlds turned upside down soon enough..anyway..back to what I was saying..check out this link..see the proof?..look at the A.D. and B.C. links on the left http://www.ufoartwork.com/
I feel that we had many encounters with them as early man...thus the religions..It seems we confused them for something they were not.
They have been recorded throughout history..all you have to do is look..for example:
During his invasion of Asia...the Greek leader, Alexander the Great was chronicled having seen UFOs.
He was crossing a river in 329 B.C.
He and his men witnessed what they called "gleaming silver shields in the sky"
The objects repeatedly swooped down on the column of soldiers and caused the men and horses to scatter and run.
7 years later while attacking the Phoenician city..Attire(?).. in the eastern Mediterranean..anyway.. Alexander encounters more UFOs.
Quoted by observers from both sides of the conflict. "One of the disc objects shoots a beam of light at one of the city walls, causing it to crumble. Allowing Alexander and his troops access, and they easily defeat and take the city.
My point being..they are, and have been here for a very long time..What is their concern with us? ..I really can't say..but I will tell you..they are not us..that I do know..and would stake my life on it.

There are loads of things I could put here, but I don't have the time or the space.
I am firmly agnostic in that I have no idea whether God exists or not (by that I mean an intelligent designer, I'm perfectly certain that the the God the Bible talks about doesn't) - and that if he/she/it does then they do in a way that we can't possibly understand.
I've read a brilliant book recently that talks about theories very similar to your own - one where every universe eventually gives birth to another, and - most fascinating of all - the multiple realities theory.
Not all gobbledygoop - written by a top theoretical physicist. It's called The Universe Next Door - I read it in one sitting. Jaw-dropping stuff. Put it on your Christmas list.
Extra: It's by Marcus Chown, btw, and I got my copy from Waterstones.

I don't know if there is a god but my view on live and creation is simple: bacteria, cells, cooperation, diversity. A great book to read to get the idea is The Web of Life by Capra.
As for humans, I think as a species we have reached our top! We are not very different from the ones long ago, just more gadgets and we're not special. We don't deserve to be observed. The fact is we haven't really progressed, despite all the centuries of human existence, we keep making the same mistakes!

Whoo. I could go on forever, actually...
I'm not sure yet where I stand on creation and life, actually. I've been considering the various possibilities for years, and I find it difficult to accept any of them fully.
I do believe in gods, and I do believe they hold power. But I think we made them instead of the other way around. I subscribe to Feuerbach's theories on the beginnings of religion (people worshipped what gave them life, be it the sun, the river, etc. and later gave names to them and anthropomorphized them), but I also believe that people put a lot of work into these god-structures. They prayed to them, worshipped them, and believed in them--and through this, gave enough shared energy to these god-structures to endow them with much of the power they believed them to hold. Hence why I'm prone to say that I believe in belief; we create our own realities to some extent, and when enough people believe in a common reality, they create something bigger.
These aren't new ideas, and this is far from the only odd belief I tend to hold. But there's a fun one.

It is strange really because I consider myself to be agnostic, and yet I share no beliefs in such hair brain ideas. You have quite the imagination, I'll give you that.
