The answer is yes to both he's pretty smart. But he's only viewed in such over blown esteem because it's politically correct to hug the disabled. As if being in a wheelchair was something to aspire to.

Some people cannot make themselves believe even when the facts are right in front of them. Stephen Hawking's doctorate degree is not honorary. He is a doctor. Dr. Hawking introduced some radical thinking that seems to be the missing link between the macro universe and the micro universe.
Yeah. he's pretty intelligent.

Whether hé's the smartest man in the world or not is up in the air, but as for being one of the foremost physicists of our time who's made groundbreaking theories, then yes, that much is all true.
As for the talking and being in a wheelchair the fact is that he was due to die of MND many, many years ago and is a poster boy for the anti-euthanasia activists, because you can still do so much, no matter what cards you're dealt

If you asked him, he would probably say "No", but I think he has been given the "crown" for this century. The wheelchair is just a tradegy and only adds to his popularity. That he can do what he does, with such horrible disabilities, is awesome. The man is amazing. I would like to know his "IQ", not that I am especially swayed by 'big' numbers in IQ tests.

2 diverse men, in diverse fields. Einstein replaced into extra concentrated in one specific section, on the same time as Hawking hit many diverse factors. consistent with in basic terms organic intelligence, Hawking is larger, yet bear in strategies technological awareness is predicated on the previous generations learnings. i think of once you learn "for that given age" Einstein stll does not tournament up. yet this would be a query to be replied 50 years from now.

Defiantly!! Stephan Hawkings is the leading source on quantum physics (how the universe works) etc. I guess spending your whole life unable to move your body makes your brain that much stronger.
