Hi... i am a young girl and i really really want to be slim.
Everytime u offer me food, i say yes to everything even though sometimes I am not hungry..and then I feel terrible, in other words, guilty for eating when unnecessary. And then I always think 'there's always tomorrow when I can diet again' and I do it over and over again.
I am not massive, but as I said, a little bit too chubby, and I don't want to be 'thin' at all.. just nice and slim.
I want to start,preferably,after Christmas.
But I have discovered I am too weak to cut out things like chocolate,crisps,lollipops,chips.. etc
I'm not strong enough.. and I do get support from my dad and sister sometimes but it is not good enough.
I would prefer an online trainer, on msn or yahoo msn.
Please leave me your msn address.
And please give me some good advice even if you haven't got msn.
please help me!! :) xxxx

Good for you -- remember to stay healthy! That is the most important. Do not deny yourself anything, you'll become resentful and want it all the more.

Moderation is they key. Read the labels of foods and find out what a portion size really is. You'll probably be surprised -- I was. Measure your foods - count out a serving of chips. It's annoying at first, but you'll get used to it quickly.

Drink a lot of water. Water is amazing -- it flushes your body. Think of the fat and toxins in your body getting swept away by a wave. It's great for your skin too. If you don't like plain water - add a touch of fruit juice or a piece of citrus fruit for flavor.

Exercise -- walk whenever you can. Find activities that you like - not only will it keep your mind off eating, but it's great for your body. Rollerblading, skateboarding, running, trampoline, etc. You can do some exercises while watching tv or hanging out with friends.

Self magazine has a great website for workouts and eating plans -- they also do a "challenge" every year - you can join anytime for free. www.self.com

Good luck!!! You can do it!!! Don't think of it as a diet - it isn't - your modifying your lifestyle. Get your family involved too -- that will help tremendously and be great for everyone.

Happy Holidays!

Yes. And I have been doing that for each of the past few weeks. (30 down total, 30 to go.)

This is all you need to know. A pound (American here) is 3500 calories. Your present weight requires 15 calories per pound to maintain, assuming moderate activity. So if you weigh 200 lbs, your body needs 3000 calories to maintain your weight.

If you eat 2000 calories a day, your body will have a 1000 calorie deficit each day. After 3-1/2 days, you will lose a pound.

Now, if you exercise, you burn more calories. So if you exercise 90 minutes - 45 minutes twice a day - and burn 1500 calories, your daily deficit is now 2500 calories. You will lose 5/7 lb every day.

I've been eating 1000 calories a day - below that I won't lose weight - and walking 60+ minutes twice a day, and the weight is falling off. And I feel good. And by choosing my foods wisely - apples, clementines, cabbage (a favorite), tofu, fish, lean chicken, hot dogs (100 calories each, no bun), hard boiled egg whites (another favorite of mine), lowfat yogurt, chicken broth instead of oil - I don't feel like I'm dieting at all. In fact, I'm eating all day.

Using the information above to help you select what you eat will put you in charge of your weight and weight loss. Using a diet someone else wrote out for you doesn't put you in charge, it makes you dependent. You need to be in charge of your weight loss.

Sorry to go on so long, but it's frustrating to me that weight loss is a simple topic that many have made very confusing. Keep it simple. Keep yourself in charge.

Hope this helps. Post here if you want more info, and I'll forward my email address.

You have got to either be chubby or avoid chocolates, sweets and rich food to be a little slimmer. Besides that you have to think slim and do daily exercise to tighten your body and remove the puppy fat because as you start dieting, your puppy fat could sag and make you look awesome. Baby, the fattest person was not born fat, but grew fat by negligence and by being partial to the little fat by saying;just a little fat. not too much. Any fat is a way to more fat! So take care now, before you become obese.

First I have to tell you that I basically have no willpower and hate to exercise...but I am losing weight.

I simply get on the treadmill for 20 minutes 4 days a week and take a 20 minute walk in the afternoons. I have not gone on a diet, but have simply given up snacking between meals. No more cokes and potato chips!

Just that little bit works for me.

fats wont change into muscle. i Dont imagine it concerns too a lot. as an example in the adventure that your hundreds fats (no longer announcing you're) and examine a six %. - you wont see all of it that a lot besides. 5kg is fantastic - you should do more beneficial once you've the potential. in case you opt for to be toned, be particular to apply a weight which isnt rather heavy. otherwise ull be doing potential practise. With lighter weights you opt for to be doing more beneficial repititions. desire the style of solutions your question.

Ripped lean women sell clothes, but real men are attracted to real women - with round soft curves and a shapely figure. If you already have that naturally, then don't about olympic training. Leave that to the olympians. Just cut down on the sweets, include fruits and vegatables, and lead an active lifestyle.

Do more crunches, sit-ups, and walk more. cut off all the high-calorie foods, and you'll be fine.
