In Deuteronomy 6: 5, 6, & 7, we read that we should love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, and might. It also says for us to teach these words to our children, telling very specifically how to do this. But I believe it would be wise if we were first ask ourselves if we can truly say we love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and might. Practice what you preach definitely applies here (I Timothy 4:12).

Begin teaching your children about the Lord when they are young, as pointed out in Proverbs 22:6 and II Timothy 3:14, 15. You can never begin too soon! Ephesians 6:4 is a very helpful verse.

The most logical way to begin is to show your child what the Bible says about God and his love for man. The following verses will help your child know exactly how much God loves him/her: I John 4: 19 (God loved us first), John 3:16 (God loves the world and sent His son), and Romans 5:8 should get you started. I would suggest helping you child(ren) memorize these verses as soon their verbal skills will allow. Usually 2 or 2 1/2 years is a good time.

First, you know whats important to God from God's priorities and when it comes to little ones
".. their angels are always before my Father's face" Jesus

Matthew 18:10
[ The Parable of the Lost Sheep ] "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Second, you also know the prioriies of God by words He emphasis and the last words of the Old Testament are about fathers and children and how the Messiah will help them love each other

Malachi 4:6
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

Third, one of the most famous parable The Pridgial son portrays Gos as a loving father longing for the run away prodggal and the stay at home prodigal to enter into his joy and the only time you will ever see GOd run "is when He ran to me, wiped the tears from my eyes and said son your home again!!"

In a world full of bible believing people it would seem that the bible does not reveal the importance of expressing love for anyone. Christians are very intolerant.

It doesn't, really. You'd have to throw out almost all of the Old Testament and most of the New Testament before it is even readable to children. Unless, of course, you're trying to teach them: Don't call people "baldy" or God might send some bears to rip you apart.

If you look hard enough, you might be able to pick some things from there that are good for kids to learn. But there are better books out there that teach better values.

Atheists do not believe in God and blame him for every misery we undergo. Does not the animals , birds and plants and trees do not suffer. It has scientifically proved plants do have life. If I make mistake I have to suffer . Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. God knows when and how to punish the sinners. He is not a judge in human court. He got his own law of court.Atheist should remember one thing You can deny the existence of something only when you feel the existence of the same. God never bothers what you think about Him. He wants you to realize Him and become part and parcel of him. Gold has to be beaten hard to convert in to a beautiful necklace, So God also have His own way by which He will ask you to come to Him.

Here is one of my favorite quotes showing the "love" that your ghod has towards children;

"Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children. (Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT)

It's nice to see such a kind and gentle attitude towards kids isn't it? Yes, truly heartwarming...

Well, you could always stone them for disobedience.
Deuteronomy 21:18-21

Or you could have them eaten by birds.
Proverbs 30:17

You could kill them for misbehaving... with a couple of bears.
2 Kings 2:23-24

Maybe you could eat them.
Jeremiah 19:9

Or, you could do this:
Psalm 137:9, which so eloquently states, "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Don't believe me? Open your damn Bible.

Edit: Thumbs down. Looks like people can't handle the truth of their own Bible.

Luke 11:13
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

I think a good example is that God says I love you 365 times in one form or another and it inspires me to tell my kids I love them at least once a day.

The Bible brings out the element of showing love to liitle children in many verses and among them are the following:
Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mat 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Fathers can learn from God who is the ever present help, watches over us, knows what's best for us and provides for our every need.
