In short NO! Originally christmas was the pagan winter festival. It was a joyous occasion where all family members came together to share food and social interaction. When Christianity went on the attack the first thing it did was steal all pagan festivals and make them their own. Just like easter has nothing to do with jesus (it was the pagan summer festival). Also many christian scholars beleive that Jesus was actually born closer to april.

Sure. A small bit does, but only because the Christians stuck that in there. They were stretching it a bit, saying it is Jesus' birthday. The Bible says Jesus was born when shepards had flocks grazing, not winter.
Most of Christmas, though, is secular. It's origin is the winter solstice. People celebrated the continuance of life through winter at its shortest day. Other religions later slapped their pet gods into the holiday, like Mithra and Saturn. Christians followed suit by sticking their prophet in there.
Today, though, it is nearly entirely secular with each religion having their own foot in the door. Hannakah wasn't a major Jewish holiday, but even they have ramped it up to participate in this holiday. My Jewish grandmother even had a Christmas tree. That, like other plants that stay green in winter, are symbols of life continuing through winter.

Christmas has everything to do with Jesus, however, it has very little to do with the real life guy who Jesus was actually based on...

I think it's a time to reflect on just how short life is, and the greetings and gifts we share are a way of saying I'm grateful to have you in my life, and yes Jesus has something to do with Christmas, He is Christmas. PS A thumbs down isn't going to change how I feel.

Candy and painkillers are the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus is busy doing whatever Jesus does; ah; somewhere else I guess.

The Christians gave 25th December as Jesus's birthday. The romans worshipped a sun god that was born on the 25th December. He also had 12 disciples

No. It has nothing to with Jesus.
It's a blend of area rites, festivals and pagan myths.
The early catholic church allowed their converts to bring their pagan celebrations with them. It made it easier to convert them.
Rather than eventually walking away from the rituals like the the early church leaders thought, the festivals eventually tainted Christianity and is now well rooted in Christendom.
