Latest research shows that, as they are high in the good fats, if they are eaten as part of a balanced diet they can actually help you lose weight. They're extremely good for you.
Eat them raw, not roasted or salted, and always in moderation.

Peanuts contain high amout of lipids/fats, and also proteins.
If consumed excessively,they do cause weight gain.

mega-high in calories (if you're watching) but good for you as well. Yeah... I like peanuts also so its definately a struggle for me as well. Stay away from salted ones and oil-roasted kind.

Yes!! Although they are healthy, they contain a lot of fat. Don't eat too many if you are preventing weight gain.

Anything can make you gain weight. You just have to consume them in moderation.

They are high in fat so is possible. But also a good source of protein so they are not the only culprit.
