1) Whats wrong with preaching OUR values? Should we instead preach non-Christian values?
2) I don't go into anyone's house and tell them about Christ. I just talk only when religion is an open topic
3) Seeing as how I think the message of Christ is the greatest the world has ever known, I think I am doing a great justice by letting people know about the truth of Christ.
4) I don't support theocracies, they are against the teachings of Christ. I like secular governments, because secular in its meaning means "concerned only with temporal powers", which is exactly what earthly governments are. No matter how much someone tries to make a nation "godly", ultimately all nations are destined to perish, so why concern yourself with what will perish? So I'd strongly agree with that last point - all steps should be taken to keep the government and religion from dangerously mixing. Religion has been perverted because of people trying to enforce one religious view above another, and ultimately people have died, and often the people who died were the true in heart.

WOW, what's with all the Christian and religious bashing?!!! Christians preach their values because they're supposed to literally "Spread the Good News." It's part of Christian practice. They're NOT however, supposed to Bible-bash people.

I hate it! I grew up in the Bible Belt, grew up in a Southern Baptist church, and it was awful. I think they always preach because they're deluted into thinking they are responsible for sending everyone to heaven.

I don't know about you but I certainly wouldn't expect them to preach about Judaism or Hinduism.
People usually don't like people who are different than them and their only options are "avoid them like the plague," "if you can't beat them join them" or "make them like me/us." The last one seems to be a "better" choice.

You mean since they seem always to fall far shorter of those values than the non-believers (Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggert, etc.)?
Yeah, I always wondered that too.

They think they invented morality. In fact, religious people are morally lazy. They are spoon-fed what to think is right and wrong, and are discouraged from thinking for themselves. If you ask them any serious question about morality, they usually can't get past "God said so" and talk about the real issues.

Who's doing this to you? Unless you're in a church, watching the Christian channel, or in the R/S forum, you shouldnt be seeing any preaching.
