If you need a remedy, try feeding him some charcoal biscuits. At least you've got something to blame!

If your dog has excessive flatulence, you may be feeding him the wrong type of dog food.
Try feeding a quality brand like Nutro Natural Choice and see if that helps. Sometimes food that you can purchase for your dog at the supermarket contains so many fillers and low-quality products that they can be harder to digest for dogs than a good brand.
Also, make sure that he's not getting table scraps.

Change to a Premium brand of dog food (Iams, Eukanuba, etc.) and try the lamb and rice blend. Worked wonders for a bull mastiff I once had. Better for them too ... yes, it's more expensive, but hey, it's your best friend, right?
