Some of it.
The majority of the city including the city centre, and the ports are on an Island, though one could easily miss this when approaching.
It is seperated from the mainland by a small waterway known as Port Creek, and forms what is known correctly as Portsea Island.
Areas such as Cosham and Drayton are on the mainland.
I hope this helps

It is an Island. The main part of Portsmouth is known as Portsea Island. However the City of Portsmouth encrouches onto the mainland, parts of Waterlooville, Cosham for example are on the mainland. There are three roads onto the island, the M275, London Road at Hilsea and the Eastern Road. IF you know the area, the "creek" is the water that divides it from the mainland.

part of the mainland, but if you are being really pedantic, all parts of the UK are islands as they do eventually have water surrounding them, even if the water is only rivers or streams, admittedly they are all connected by bridges, but there is an area on the Yorkshire/lincolnshire are called the Isle of Axholme, because it is surrounded by rivers.

Jesus strolling on water isn't the priority or the element, the element is that Peter had little faith, even however Peter had witness many miracles Peter nonetheless doubted, or did he? Peter observed as Jesus the Son of God, adult adult males did no longer be attentive to this so how did Peter learn this? Jesus mentioned, "in basic terms my Father would have revealed this to you". Jesus became baiting Peter, if a reader could heavily pay interest to all words and information they could be attentive to that unclean spirits, demons and the devil knew that Jesus became the Son of God. Jesus advised Peter, get thee at the back of me devil, and in yet another passage Jesus advised Peter that the devil desire to have you ever so as that he my sift you like wheat. however the main convincing information is the undeniable fact that Jesus mentioned whosoever shall deny me i will deny in front of my Father, Peter denied Jesus thrice. Peter did no longer care approximately be switched over Peter in basic terms had to be super interior the eyes of adult adult males. study the gospel of Judas, and John 13:26-3.
