You didn't comprehend the article. It's article about confusion over identities of hijacker and not that they're alive. Notice how they put 'Mistaken Identity' in bold face? And the quote from FBI director saying identities are in 'doubt.'
They may have used false id that caused confusion and that's what the article is saying. That's why there is quotation mark around the word 'suspects.' Implying they're not real suspects, but by mistaken identity.
Learn to read and comprehend man. And read the whole article not just the title and the first line. Or you just learning English?

obviously it wasn't those hijackers.....No one knows for sure because for the 4th time in history all in 1 day 4 Boeing 747s vaporized first time in aviation history all 4 times 9/11 is also famous for 3 steel building disintegrating because of fire this is also a first in history building 1-2-and 7 And at the pentagon NO BODYS NO ENGINES NO LUGGAGE all just gone! this is just amazing wake up America it was planed out by out own government to make it look like a terrorist attack....so we had a reason to start war. Take a good look at wtc 1&2 cant you tell explosives were used to bring the buildings down demolition style. For some reason I believe the Boeings were being remote controled...Do you really think you can steal a jet with 200 people on board with a box cutter??? LOL I couldent steal a car with a box cutter....

Maybe because the hijackers didn't provide a list to authorities before they boarded. And, all that was left of the ones who did do the hijacking was bits of flesh.
If you read the article (did you?) the man admits to having attended the same flight school as the other hijackers. It's not hard to see how the mix up occurred.

I don't really know but I think it is because they don't know for sure.
I do hear and read a lot and there also seems to
be an issue of the United States surveillance and
spying being weak.
Also, there is a problem with the government not
letting the public know whats really going on in the
US when it comes to us being in danger, like the
911 hearings.
I love America, but we need to get it together.

They got scared and when they asked Allah for advice.
Allah told them they were not being good Muslims.....
Now they are good Muslims and they await their "final peace".
Bottom line he got scared and did not board the plane.....
