Prophets of Islam are human beings who are regarded by Muslims to be prophets. The term for prophet in Islam is nabi (pl. anbiyaa).

Islamic tradition dictates that prophets were sent by God to every nation. Each prophet, with the exception of Muhammad, was sent to convey God's message to a specific group of people or nation. Muhammad's mission is viewed as one for the whole of mankind.

The concept of prophecy in Islam is broader than Judaism and Christianity since Muslims distinguish between "rasul" (messengers) and "nabi" (prophets). Both are "divinely inspired" recipients of God's revelation. However, messengers are given a message for a community in book form and, unlike prophets, are assured success by God.

The first prophet is Adam, while the last prophet is Muhammad, thus his title Seal of the Prophets. Jesus is the result of a virgin birth in Islam as in Christianity, and is regarded as a prophet like the others.[4] Traditionally, five prophets are regarded as especially important in Islam: Noah (Arabic:Nuh), Abraham (Arabic:Ibrahim), Moses (Arabic:Musa), Jesus (Arabic:Isa) and Muhammad; together these are known as ulul azmi (the Resolute).

Someone had to be chosen to spread God's love and he just happened to choose Muhammed because he was such a devout person. Muhammed didn't create his own moral system he was given these teachings by God himself. Teachings to make this world a better place. Look into what Muhammed has to say, his teachings at times make sense and answer many questions. Speak with a Muslim to find the right answer. Muhammed was a prophet of those times and he wrote everything down everything he was taught by God. Just like Jesus came to earth to teach humans the proper way to live their lives and those teachings were written down in the Bible.

He didn't. Its the same as the moral system of Jesus and of Moses and of Abraham. So I guess you should ask instead, why did Abraham create a moral system of what is good and what is bad? It is my belief that it was given to him (or them) by God, after prayer, contemplation, and meditation, but even those who do not believe in the existence of God really can't be faulted if they follow this system, because it works and has been working for many thousands of years.

zloewez.. I can tell from your questions that you man read a book about Muhammad & wanna make a "good minded" ouir of yourself.
look man.. I prefere you read a book of "you must know this man" it's availble in the states or you can search for it to know about this man, instead of asking strange questions.
PLEASE chack that thing in refference
I've spent 5 years of life as a truth seeker,, so you'd be trusting what I say.

another thing I for got to say.. read the real morals of Islam in the qur'an or the narrations of Muhammd. if he's a man & invented them,, then how great this man was.. to come up with all these beautiful morals & ethics that was not availble in his time.
so if you don't believe in him as a messenger,, than you'd rather espect him for his morals
