Nice one Guy from the end of 12 Monkeys

Lynne - I never disputed the good work he has done for the improvement of school dinners in the UK. I appluad it, the state of them was a travesty and hopefully his profile has made a big difference. However..... He is still incredibly irritating, has a fat tonge and probably masterbates, he is also not a cockney but talks like one, so I am correct in my description of him.

A question of mine from a couple of weeks ago.

Why is Jamie Oliver treated like a national treasure when he's really an obese tosser?

Additional Details

I know I'll decide to become popular in the public eye. I'll take something that most people hate - smoking and do something about it. I'll collect a few photos of diseased lungs and some carrot sticks and then stroll into pubs and confront smokers with the pictures and then offer them carrot sticks to help them give up. Of course a camera crew will be following me about and get some great footage of me lecturing to the smokers about the health benefits of quitting and seeing me get upset and angry if they don't follow my advice. After the program is released I'll be made a saint in the public's eye. (Not a smug, self-serving, media whore)

Oh yeah, I'll also get an obvious affectation like a moped, or better still a 1930's open topped Bentley. A catchphrase will also be needed, unfortunately 'Pukka' is already being used so I'll choose 'Just listen to me for a moment', there - done. I'll also assume a massive sense of superiority over everyone, after all I'M helping THEM out of the goodness of my heart (and in no way to boost my popularity with the public and so help sell my crappy books and that ridiculous garlic shaker thing).

Jamie has at least made the people of the Uk sit up and take note. Most people wouldn't have obesity problems or anti social problems if their diets were healthy!! healthier food leads to healthier minds, its a well known fact! So those who still think he is a wanker, are the ones who are wankers themselves, as they will be having major health problems later on, and will more than likely wish they had taken some notice of his words! He is a chef, and to be honest the stuff they call school dinners, is a disgusting excuse for food! Absolutely zero nutritional value and therefore I would think most people with at least half a brain will realise that he has done wonders, introducing healthier meals! It's common sense really, and it's incredible that the diet at schools is so appalling!

What's all the fuss? Why do parents bring their kids up on take aways and junk food? School meals were always a bit of a disaster, but there was always (overcooked) veg, no pizzas and no chips. We had fish on Fridays. When we got fish on Thursday, we knew it was because the fish was going off and wouldn't keep till Friday. We then got cheese pie on Friday. Worst nightmare - desserts. The custard was always so thick you could have plastered the walls with it, and they had a favourite - I think it was supposed to be shortbread, but it was rock hard. This was in south Lakeland, and we called it Shap Granite. If you didn't moisten it with what they called custard, you were in danger of being held on a charge of GBH as pieces of 'shortbread' rocketed around the dining room.

well I wouldn't go so far as calling him that, no, but at least he showed an interest in what the nations kids are eating, which is more than some of their own parents are doing. People feed their kids junk food, and then wonder why their kids are fat, unhealthy and badly behaved.

unsure if his reasons for doing the school stuff were based on self promotion or a genuine desire to help society, but the outcome must be applauded. And what if he masturbates? Does that make him a bad chef? Well, only if he does it in the bechamel sauce.

No and who does he think he is, school dinners were fine thank you very much and who does he think he is? It's not pukka to have food drenched in olive oil and garlic and people don't like being told what to do by this dribbling little upstart. His ugly stick thin wife looks like she needs a good old school dinner down her scrawny neck!

Jamie is cool - his restaurant cooking is fab, and his recipe books are easy to follow, and look fantastic when you make them yourself. I have nothing but praise for the man, and I'm a big foodie!

He's always been hot and still is. And there's nothing wrong with him trying to make kids healthier since (broadly speaking) their lazy parents can't be bothered....
