Remember the liver can only metabolize about an ounce of alcohol an hour, water is necessary when it performs this miracle, water that needs to be compensated for before you go to bed all fallin' out and whatnot...hangovers are dehydration headaches that with the help of some glucose syrup solids ( gaterade etc.)in the immediate wake-up phase...you know..when your looking for the "cat"....you say what cat? I say the one that took a crap in my mouth last nite!!!( joke) That hangover breath could knock a buzzard off a **** wagon, peanut butter takes care of the tell tale breath at work....and the imbibing of at least a quart of water the last hour you're up takes the brain dry up away the next day.....and having Dr. Magillicuddy's Hangover remedy ( available at your local smoke shop) will dot the I's and cross the T's....of course alcohol has a funny way of making you forget to do all that crap too so set yourself up before the first sip of Devils playground......hope you feel better by lunch.

When I have a hangover, I'd rather not report for work. Reporting to work with a hangover is not fair to your employer because you will not be as productive when sober.

Anyway, if you really want to drink tonight then work tomorrow, here's a trick that will eradicate hangover:

Take 2 tablets of Aspirin BEFORE going into a drinking spree. Not only you will have no hangover...you can still double or triple your alcohol intake...and still be the last man standing. Try it.

Yeah I work every Sunday and I go out with my friends on Saturday night and I start on Sundays at 6 am in the morning and one of my friends lives near to my work so we came home at about 4 am then have a 1 an half hour sleep get up shower and walk to work. Sometimes I ring in sick but most of the time I go to work with a hangover and everyone knows it now cause I laugh the whole day I drank V drinks to keep me awake or coffee.Well at least I enjoy Saturdays night dancing and drinking.

Of course!! However I do work in a restaurant and most Saturdays all the staff turn up to work still half cut and the hangovers kick in around 1pm. the best cure is playing old love songs and rock ballads everyone knows and singing along laughing at each other.

I grew up in the 60's and I don't ever remember a Monday when I didn't have a hangover. That is until I quit drinking and wised up. It's tough to tell the difference when you drink for enjoyment with friends and when you really do have a drinking problem. I have never known anyone yet in my 62 years of someone who didn't end up with a drinking problem after drinking "socially" for a few years.

yep but the trick to mitigate against a hangover is to drink a glass of water every now and then while drinking spirts. It keeps you hydrated.
